Were you a cash-laden company hoping to snap up Hulu like the hot online video property it is? Too bad, because the powers that be have decreed that it’s no longer for sale. It’s not clear what made them change their mind, but joint owners News Corp, Disney and Providence Equity just issued this statement:
Hulu is not for sale, at least not anymore

“Since Hulu holds a unique and compelling strategic value to each of its owners, we have terminated the sale process and look forward to working together to continue mapping out its path to even greater success. Our focus now rests solely on ensuring that our efforts as owners contribute in a meaningful way to the exciting future that lies ahead for Hulu.”
You’ll have to do something else with those untold millions burning a hole in your pocket.
