The annual Disney fan event showed off the cast of Marvel’s X-Men movie, plus a new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, and our first look at the VisionQuest TV show for Disney Plus. For Star Wars fans, there was a teaser trailer for season 2 of Ahsoka, plus a special look at Star Wars: Starfighter with an appearance from Ryan Gosling.

Blade Runner 2099’s moody dystopia streams on Amazon in November

After teasing the series with some first-look images yesterday, Amazon is finally properly unveiling its Blade Runner streaming series. Called Blade Runner 2099, the show hits Prime Video on November 25th with all eight episodes dropping at once. We also got the first trailer for the series, which is full of Blade Runner staples: a bleak futuristic LA, dramatic narration, and some really good coats.

After months of teasing us with reminders about how large Avengers: Doomsday's cast is going to be, Marvel has finally released a proper trailer for the film.

Though Robert. Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom definitely appears to be causing a lot of the chaos in Doomsday's first trailer, the movie seems like it's going to feature more than a few moments where different teams of heroes fight one another. Netflix is using an AI-generated Gene Wilder voice in its Willy Wonka reality show

A new teaser trailer confirmed that Wonka's The Golden Ticket will premiere on Netflix on September 23rd, following its Squid Game reality show in the trend of creating real competitions based on fictional torture scenarios. While the sets seen in the trailer are real and not some Glasgow-style AI fakes, the voiceover is AI-generated.

Deadline reports that Netflix worked with AI audio company ElevenLabs with consent from Wilder's family, after working on productions re-creating the voice of Michael Caine and Stan Lee. Over 15 years after David Fincher and Aaron Sorkin's The Social Network premiered in theaters, Sony has released the first trailer for The Social Reckoning ahead of its theatrical release on October 9th. The follow-up takes place 17 years after the events portrayed in the original film and follows a young Facebook engineer who enlists the help of a Wall Street Journal reporter to expose the platform's secrets.

Warner Bros. has debuted its first full trailer for Denis Villeneuve's third Dune film. A little over a year ago, Marvel spent the better part of an entire day slowly revealing the massive cast for Avengers: Doomsday. More recently, the studio started dropping teaser trailers featuring some of the movie's more notable superhero team-ups and returning characters. Tomb Raider announces two new games

While Geoff Keighley had already announced that Tomb Raider would be making a Game Awards appearance, the surprise was that instead of one game announcement there's two. Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Game Studios are releasing two Tomb Raider games back-to-back in 2026 and 2027. First up, coming in 2026 is Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. Don't let the fancy name fool you though, Legacy of Atlantis is the Unreal Engine 5 version of the first Tomb Raider game, a remake similar to Tomb Raider Anniversary which updated the 1997 original PlayStation game for the PS2.
