Roku recently launched its first-ever OLED TVs. The $999 starting price was already impressive for the 55-inch Pro Series model that has a 120Hz refresh rate OLED panel (with four HDMI 2.1 ports and support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10 Plus). The price is even lower right now at Amazon when you enter the code ROKUOLED300 at checkout. It knocks a clean $300 off, as the code indicates, making this the most affordable modern 55-inch OLED you can get right now.

If you’re more of a 65-inch TV kind of person, you’re in luck, as there’s a code that knocks $400 off that model to make it just $799 at checkout. Enter the code ROKUOLED400 to bring the $1,299 65-inch Pro Series down to $799. We haven’t had a chance to test either model, but they seem respectable if you want great picture quality without breaking the bank.

Roku Pro Series OLED (2026)

Given that these are Roku TVs, the company’s software is built-in, negating the need to stick a streaming device into one of its HDMI ports, unless you prefer hardware from other brands. The Pro Series includes a backlit Roku remote, and it supports auto low latency mode, and has variable refresh rate (AMD FreeSync Premium) for gaming. There’s a pricier Pro Series LX coming in October starting at $1,299 that claims to be twice as bright as the Pro Series, with a reflection-reducing polarizer and 144Hz refresh rate.

The Nothing Phone 4A Pro got its first big discount at Amazon. The base model with 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage is $449 (usually $499), and the upgraded model with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage is $509 (usually $599). The Phone 4A Pro borrows the high-end version’s signature feature, its Glyph Matrix, which displays the time, battery life, or notification icons. Amazon has a variety of DJI Osmo Nano video camera bundles on sale. The most basic option for $349 includes the camera, which has 64GB of internal storage, the Vision Dock with a built-in screen, a magnetic ball joint mount, a protective case, USB-C cable, and two magnetic mounting options. This tiny video camera has earned a reputation for offering surprisingly rich video quality despite its tiny size and affordable price point.
You can grab an Ember Warming Mug for just $34.99 at Woot, a significant discount from its list price of $129.99. This six ounce mug can keep your coffee or tea toasty for up to 90 minutes on a single charge, with an adjustable temperature range of 120 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

While PC component prices remain high, you can save a good bit of money on a system by purchasing a prebuilt desktop. Walmart has a well-equipped CyberPowerPC gaming PC on sale for $1,549, almost $600 off its original price of $2,139. It’s powered by an Intel Core i7-14700KF processor, and paired with 32GB of 6000MHz DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX 5070 Founders Edition with 12GB of VRAM. The case is a CyberPowerPC MA-O1, an in-house design with extensive cooling options and three dedicated knobs for adjusting internal RGB lighting colors.

While it might not feel like it at first blush, this is a solid value for a gaming PC that’s ready to rock out of the box. The RTX 5070 in this machine is likely to run you upwards of $800 by itself at the moment (it launched in 2025 for $549), and 32GB of fast memory can be $400 or more. For just a small premium, you get those components packed into a nice case with a panoramic glass panel and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD inside. The whole kit is tested, with a one year warranty for parts and labor. It also includes a keyboard and mouse, so you can start gaming right away once it arrives.

If you need a gaming monitor with spectacular colors and clarity to go with your new gaming PC, Newegg has the ASRock PGO27QSA-W discounted to $299.33, a significant discount from its original price of $476. This 27-inch screen supports 1440p resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate with FreeSync Premium for variable refresh rate, and an OLED panel for deep black levels.
A two pack of Anker Zolo MagSafe wireless chargers is discounted to $25.99 at Amazon, where it would normally cost $39.99. Each charger is Qi2 certified, with support for up to 15W of charging power, and includes a five-foot cable for convenient positioning on your desk or nightstand. You’ll have to use your own wall charger, though.
The Nintendo Customer Appreciation sale is live until September 26th at 8:59 PM PT, and is a great time to pick up an extra set of controllers, among other game and accessory deals. The Switch Pro Controller is only $56 (usually around $70) at both Amazon and Best Buy, and a duo of Joy-Con are only $62.99 at Best Buy, although only the pastel purple and green combo are currently in stock. The controllers are compatible with both the original Switch and Switch 2, although owners of the newer console will need a separate charger, and they won’t wake the system from sleep.

Nintendo’s “Customer Appreciation” sale continues through September 26th. It includes discounts on Switch games and accessories, and I thought I’d call out one of my favorite games that’s cheaper than ever. Metroid Prime Remastered is down to $27.99 in digital format for the Switch and Switch 2, and it’s among the best remasters I’ve played because it makes smart improvements to an already-great game. You can get it for this price at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. The physical version costs around $42 at those retailers.

Most Metroid fans have already played this one — maybe multiple times, even — but if you’ve somehow missed out, here’s your sign to pick it up. It applies a modern coat of updated textures and improved lighting to the 2002 GameCube title, and it runs at a smooth frame rate. Notably, the control scheme doesn’t require motion controls like the Wii re-release did.

For about the same price as this digital title, true fans can also buy the Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective hardcover book. Normally $49.99, it’s $28.50 at Amazon and Walmart for the 208-page art book covering the original trilogy, peppered with some fantastic quotes from people who worked on the games. It’s an unusually candid look into Nintendo’s first-person shooter series and the company’s game design philosophy. It’d make for a great holiday gift. Read our coverage of the book.

Flow is one of the best animated movies of the past few years, and now it’s cheaper than ever to own a digital copy. Unless you have HBO Max to watch it on demand, snag the 4K version from Apple TV or Amazon for $4.99. The voiceless tale follows a cat who survives a huge flood that leaves civilizations in ruin. The perilous (yet adorable) adventure sees the cat relying on other animals to survive. It’s just a fantastic way to spend 90 minutes.
It’s never a bad time to recommend a cable as useful as Anker’s 2-in-1 USB-C cable. The two-headed cable can charge two devices from a single charging port (up to 140W for a single device), and the six-foot version is down to $15.99 at Amazon. This is only $4 off, and it’s far from the first time we’ve seen this deal. But it’s never been cheaper, and it’s practical cable that will likely improve your charging setup. My wife and I use it to cycle between charging our MacBooks and an iPad, occasionally throwing a phone or Kindle into the mix.
Best Buy is trolling us a bit with today’s price on the white Magic Keyboard with Touch ID. We focused yesterday on the $30 discount for the black version of the wireless keyboard that brought it down to $169.99. That deal is gone, but the model with white key caps is down to $149.99 at Best Buy. It’s compatible with all Macs that have Apple silicon, dating back to the M1 models (so long as you have macOS 15.1 or later). It recharges via USB-C, and has a full numerical pad, plus other keys for easier navigation on your computer.

An early look at the first set of Googlebooks

The Android-powered Googlebooks are coming soon, with familiar brands and specs that rival Windows Copilot machines. For anyone eager to get their hands on any the new laptops, there’s a preorder perk you may want to know about lasting until October 25th, 2026.

When you add a Googlebook to your cart at Best Buy, a pair of Pixel Buds 2A in hazel will be added for free. You can preorder now, with some systems shipping as early as October 5th, 2026. If you’re curious about the new machines, my colleague Antonio G. Di Benedetto got to spend some time with the laptops and shared his thoughts.

There are a number of qualifying Googlebooks available at the retailer, including options from Acer, Lenovo, Asus, HP, and Dell. Until the end of the day on September 22nd, 2026, Best Buy and Amazon have the black Apple Magic Keyboard on sale for $169.99, a $30 discount from the usual price. This is the souped-up version of Apple’s full-size, wireless keyboard, with a Touch ID button, numerical pad, arrow keys, plus additional function keys. The Touch ID functionality is compatible with macOS computers running version 15.1 or newer on Apple-made silicon.

The keyboard includes a woven USB-C cable that handles both charging and data, or you can use Bluetooth for a wireless connection. Black-colored Apple accessories tend to carry a higher price premium than their equivalent white models, and go on sale less frequently. Best Buy’s price is only good through 10PM PT on September 22nd, 2026, and the Amazon page is currently shipping one or two days out.

The refurbished 160W Anker Prime Charger is on sale for $75 on eBay via the Anker Outlet Store, $41 lower than the current Prime-exclusive price at Amazon, and half off the list price for a new model. This compact charger sports three USB-C ports, with a maximum output of 140W from a single port. It even has a little display for power monitoring or changing charging modes with the push of a button.
For a limited time, you can grab a 512GB microSD Express card for $99.99 or less. The Samsung P9 is $99.99 at B&H Photo and Amazon (discounted automatically applied at checkout), and the SanDisk GamePlay is $98 at Walmart. The Switch 2 is the only mainstream device that requires a microSD Express for add-ons torage, and first-party Nintendo games run between 10 and 30 GB (the upcoming Ocarina of time remake is 27GB, for example) so a 512GB card can store upwards of 15 games.
The 4K Blu-ray version of Interstellar is discounted to $14.96 at Amazon. That’s the lowest we’ve seen the price since Prime Day in June, and a five dollar break from the usual price. This classic Christopher Nolan film is an excellent addition to any film buff’s home collection, and benefits massively from the sharper visuals provided by the 4K Blu-ray. Read our review.

Given that this model typically sits around $50 to $60 depending on the color you want, this is a fantastic value since it essentially knocks its price down to $30. Another way of thinking about it is you’re paying full price for the controller, but getting a big discount on the gift card.

The controller included is a great option for Xbox or for PC. While it lacks Hall effect sticks, it’s the best midrange controller from Microsoft yet, with a premium-feeling, comfortable design, a headphone jack, and good battery life (it supports swappable AA batteries).

The Aurzen tri-fold mini projector is an awesome gadget. We said as much in our review, wherein Verge deputy editor Thomas Ricker used it in all sorts of scenarios to put it to the test. Normally $299, the USB-C chargeable projector is $249.99 at Best Buy for the rest of the day. Despite its small size, it’s surprisingly bright, and it easily connect to Android or iPhone so you can get to mirroring your games and other locally-stored content (or stuff that’s streamed via Plex or a similar service). Though, if it’s DRM-protected shows or movies you want to beam on your wall or makeshift surface, you’ll unfortunately need Aurzen’s pricey CastPlay Pro dongle that’s currently $105.
I don’t want to jinx our good fortune, but I’ve been finding some appealing laptop deals recently. The latest is Acer’s Chromebook Plus Spin 514, which is one of the best, most well-rounded models available. Sure, it’s no high-end Googlebook, but it’s a pretty solid laptop for $499 at Best Buy (originally $749, the discount expires later today). It has a 14-inch 1200p touchscreen with a foldable 2-in-1 design, and its specs include the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, Wi-Fi 7 support. Given its Chromebook Plus designation, it includes one year of free access to Google AI Pro, which grants 5TB of cloud storage, YouTube Premium Lite, Google Home Premium, and other perks.
The price keeps falling at Amazon on Ugreen’s Nexode Pro multi-port wall charger. Originally $89.99, it has almost never sold for that amount. In fact, it dropped to $49.99 briefly following its debut, and has only dropped to $59.99 — its current price — once before. This is the kind of gadget that anyone who owns multiple USB-C chargeable tech products should have. It tops out at 140W speed when you use just one of its USB-C ports, and it can divvy up 160W of total power across five gadgets that are plugged in at once.

Lenovo’s Yoga Slim 7X is the most laptop that $1,000 can currently buy

Anyone shopping for a Windows laptop with a $1K budget should head to Best Buy, where for the rest of the day you can get a great deal on a capable Lenovo laptop. The Yoga Slim 7X is a slim 14-inch machine with a 2K 16:10 OLED touchscreen, Snapdragon’s high-end X2 Elite processor with 12 cores, plus 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. The specs are about the best you can get these days for $1,000, as worthwhile laptop deals are in short supply during RAMageddon.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x

The Yoga Slim 7X seems like a great alternative to spending more (and getting less) with Microsoft’s latest Surface Laptop. In fact, you’d spend $1,549 on a similar model and still get half the storage that’s in this particular Yoga Slim 7X configuration. Its Arm-based processor can run most Windows apps very well, and yields superior battery life compared to laptops with x86 processors.

The laptop includes three USB-C ports, and a hardware switch for disabling the webcam. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. It seems like a great machine for work, watching movies, or playing some games that aren’t too graphically intensive.

The PlayStation 5 version of Starfield hasn’t been available for as long as the Xbox and PC version, so it’s been a little slower to see major discounts. However, it recently hit $29.99 (originally $49.99) at Amazon and Best Buy, making now a good time to pick up the RPG. While Starfield didn’t have nearly as large of a cultural impact as Bethesda’s other first-person RPGs, it’s still worth playing if you love space, guns, and quests. It’s probably the studio’s most polished game yet. Buyers will be able to download the Free Lanes update that hit alongside its PS5 debut in April, and there are multiple paid expansions available if you want more. Read our review.
As mentioned in a previous deal roundup, DoorDash is offering DashPass members a $25 DoorDash digital gift card when they spend $50 or more on a game (non DashPass members get $10). Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave just came out, and that’s a great game to use this promotion for if you have a Switch 2 and enjoy turn-based tactics gameplay. The digital title costs $69.99. The Baseus VD1 Pro dash cam recently dropped in price by $20, selling for $99.99 at Amazon. There are so many dash cams out there, but this one’s unique in a few ways. It includes both a 4K front- and 1080p rear-facing camera to record multiple angles, and the front camera includes a battery that can be recharged via its built-in solar panel to keep it going even when your car is off. It captures continuous footage while your car is giving it power, though it can detect incidents for up to 14 days with its built-in battery while your car is parked. Most hardware prices have soared in 2026, and that includes a variety of Apple laptops, tablets, and smart devices. Thankfully, you can offset some of the increased costs on an Apple TV 4K by buying one refurbished through the company. The 64GB model is selling for $169, $30 lower than the new retail price. The upgraded model, with 128GB of storage and an Ethernet port, is also discounted to $209 at Apple, a $40 discount from the full price. Apple refurbished products are often close to like-new condition, and are covered by the same one year warranty as new products.

Apple TV 4K (third-gen)

If you subscribe to Apple Arcade, an Apple TV 4K can effectively double as both a mini gaming console and one of the best streaming devices you can buy. With it, you can connect a Bluetooth controller like the PlayStation 5’s DualSense, thus allowing games that were initially developed for PC / consoles to be played on the big screen for which they were designed.

We reviewed the third-generation Apple TV 4K when it launched back in 2022, and were impressed by the performance and seamless integration with some streaming services, although others are still in their own dedicated apps. The device supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 Plus for excellent contrast (surpassing the quality you’ll get from a cheaper streamer, or even something like a PS5), and Siri for quickly finding your favorite shows and movies. Both the 64GB and 128GB models can work as a HomeKit hub for your other smart devices, but only the Ethernet model supports Thread.

The Metroid series is going back to its 2D roots again with Metroid Ravenous for the Nintendo Switch 2, the first side-scrolling game in the series since 2021’s Metroid Dread for the Nintendo Switch. If you’re already excited enough to consider preordering, you can save $10 on the physical version of the game when you buy it from Walmart. It’s $59.88 instead of $69.99, about the same as buying it digitally. The game launches on January 28th, 2027, but it’s not clear how long the preorder discount will last. If it’s anything like other Walmart preorders, it may occasionally disappear.

Nintendo first showed off the side-scrolling adventure game at its September 2026 Direct, with a frantic trailer cutting between cinematic sequences, Samus dashing and rolling across a variety of environments, and engaging a number of enemies and bosses in battle. Samus absorbs some powerful abilities at the conclusion of Dread, and Ravenous seem to be all about plowing through anyone stopping her from escaping the planet. Other details of the story, including unique new mechanics, are being kept under wraps for the time being.

If you haven’t played Metroid Dread, I recommend it, especially at its $41.99 discounted price at Amazon. It’s part of Nintendo’s “Customer Appreciation” sale happening through September 26th, and several other games and accessories are cheaper, too.
