Weeks ahead of Google's next Pixel hardware event, Leaker Evan Blass has shared what appear to be marketing renders of the unannounced Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold in a post on his Substack.
The renders, if accurate, show that the new foldable will look fairly similar to last year's model - it has a tall outer screen instead of using a shorter style like the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the rumored foldable iPhone. The renders also show that the inner screen will retain the 8-inch size. Google's vice president of devices and services, Shakil Barkat, all but confirmed in an interview with 9to5 Google that its next Pixel phone would cost more than the Pixel 10. Considering the ongoing RAM supply issues due to the explosion of AI data centers, the rumored price hike is not a complete surprise. Companies from Apple to Nintendo and Microsoft to Roku have all raised their prices in response to the soaring cost of memory.

Mystic Leaks suggests that the Pixel 11a will return to featuring a flagship-grade processor with the Tensor G6. Rather than the Tensor G5 found in the Pixel 10 and 10 Pro, the Pixel 10a shipped with the previous generation Tensor G4. That was a huge disappointment since, typically, the Pixel a lineup kept the modern processor, but cut corners in other places to keep costs down.

A new teaser for Google's upcoming Pixel 11 lineup reveals that the phones will feature some kind of glowing orb on the camera bar, as reported by 9to5Google.
Google's store page for the Pixel 11 has a short video that shows the glowing, color-shifting orb to the one side of the camera bar. The store page doesn't share any more information about it, but perhaps the orb is the "Pixel Glow" light feature that has popped up in Android 17 betas. If I had to guess, the orb will likely have something to do with Google's Gemini AI.

A new leak may have just spoiled the Pixel Watch 5 and its finishes ahead of Google's launch event next month. Leaked press renders provided to The Tide Chart by OnLeaks appear to show the upcoming watch with four case finishes: black (Dark Anthracite), polished silver (Natural Silver), yellow gold (Warm Gold), and a duskier gold (Pyrite).
The leaked images pair the Dark Anthracite finish with a black band, Natural Silver with a light blue band, Warm Gold with a coral band, and Pyrite with a green band. Google's upcoming Pixel lineup might cost more than last year's. A report from Dealabsspotted by 9to5Google suggests that Google could raise the starting price of its 41mm Pixel Watch 5 to $399, while adding LTE could bump the price to $499.
That's a $50 jump from the base Pixel Watch 4, which starts at $349 for Wi-Fi and $449 for LTE. Meanwhile, the larger 45mm Pixel Watch 5 is rumored to cost $429 with Wi-Fi only, or $529 with LTE, marking a $30 increase from the previous generation.

We can usually rely on Google to put together a compelling package in its Pixel A-series devices. The Pixel 10A was kind of a letdown, though. It added only a handful of updates, like satellite messaging and updated Gorilla Glass on the screen — but it still costs $499, like the Pixel 9A. Kind of a bummer.
Enter Prime Day: The 10A is down to $399 at Amazon, which feels much more fair. Getting essentially the 9A with the minor-est of iterative updates feels better when you’re paying $400 instead of $500. And staying consistent with the 9A, the 10A also offer seven years of OS updates. That’s a lot of years of not having to worry about buying another phone.
Google Pixel 10A
Google’s new Pixel 10A introduces faster wired charging, Satellite SOS, and new AI tools like Camera Coach and Auto Best Take. Otherwise, it’s basically the Pixel 9A, with the same Tensor G4 chip and a dual-camera system. Read our hands-on impressions.
In fairness, the Pixel 10A is probably a victim of RAMageddon, and I suppose we’re lucky that it didn’t get a price increase this year. And it hasn’t been totally clear what kind of deals we’d see on phones in the midst of the memory crisis, even those that are consistently marked down, like the Pixel A-series. The Pixel 9A was marked down to $400 for last summer’s Prime Day, so the smaller discount this year might be a sign of the times. Still, it’s hard to argue with the 10A at $400 — unless you find a great deal on the 9A, that is.
