Sega’s official Crazy Taxi account on X just made its first post in six years: a brief video.

Helldivers 2 is getting upscaling support on PC and consoles on May 27th. In a blog post, Arrowhead Studios announced an upcoming patch will add DLSS, FSR, XeSS, and PSSR support. It will also add optimizations like VRR on PS5, and Nvidia Reflex for reduced latency on PC.

Retro Dodo reached out, and sure enough, Lenovo admits it’s behind the G02. I can understand wanting a piece of the retro handheld action, but surely Nintendo didn’t license Lenovo to distribute thousands of titles? Then again, Anbernic’s been getting away with similar year after year.

The company announced on X that preorders for its Ultimate 3E Controller for Xbox with TMR sticks, Hall effect triggers, and swappable ABXY buttons will be available for preorder starting on May 26th. But while it was announced during CES 2026 with an estimated Q2 release, the controller now isn’t shipping until August.

The new Atlas tool lets users “build a fully interactive world,” and to encourage people to use it, Hidden Door will pay the creators of worlds that meet its guidelines — 30 percent of the platform’s subscription revenue will go to creators.

The tags, introduced as part of the cross-company Accessible Games Initiative effort, will initially show up on listings for four games, including Rayman Legends, Ubisoft says. The tags will be added to more games throughout 2026 “and beyond.”

When it announced price hikes this week, Sony focused on the cheapest Essential tier. As we suspected though, now the new prices are live, Extra and Premium have gone up too. Extra now starts at $16.99 per month, while Premium is $19.99.

Still, that could mean a new Far Cry game is still a ways out —the company only just started its 2026-2027 fiscal year in April.

A security bulletin from Nvidia breaks down new vulnerabilities found in some of its GPU drivers for Windows and Linux and vGPU software. As Digital Foundry and Club386 point out, they affect drivers prior to 596.36 on the current branch, so if you’re running the most recently released update (596.49, which was released on May 12th), you don’t have anything to do.

Warhorse Studios is developing an “open-world Middle-Earth RPG” and a “new Kingdom Come adventure” The company says it will share more about both when “the time is right.”

It’s another way to remember your journey in what’s already a very memorable game.

June is always packed with video game events, and it looks like Sony is getting a jump on things with its next State of Play, which will stream on June 2nd. The event will last more than an hour, and include another look at Insomniac’s Wolverine game.

Digital Foundry put the $600 laptop through some benchmarks and came away underwhelmed. It was possible to get a playable 30FPS out of Control and Death Stranding with quality dialed back. But, more demanding titles required dropping to 720p or, in the case of Cyberpunk 2077, refused to play at all.

Yesterday I posted about my my PC woes. I successfully completed an AIO water cooling transplant, though it took me more hours than I expected. What I didn’t expect was how valuable the LED lighting setup I bought years ago from Neweer was. My apartment doesn’t have great natural light, so I’m now a big believer in having a powerful spotlight on hand to do work at home.

This year’s Summer Games Done Quick has an excellent lineup, with promising runs featuring a Wind Waker co-op randomizer, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as the closer, and, uh, a mod that puts Half-Life mechanics into Jak and Daxter.
