This builds on the feature introduced in May which allows users to build a custom video feed based on AI prompt descriptions of your interests, moods, or favorite topics. The expansion means you can create and save more than one custom feed to your home screen, with YouTube saying it’ll be available for users in the US on web, mobile, and TVs “soon.”
The platform is testing a way for users to verify their profile by getting people they’ve actually worked or studied with (who are already verified) to vouch for them. LinkedIn is also testing a feature for company pages that forces users claiming current employment to verify themselves, and companies can now instantly remove fake employees from search results.
Ofcom is taking a deeper look at Pornhub provider Aylo’s compliance with online safety rules. The media watchdog’s enforcement director George Lusty says, “We expect tech firms to ensure age checks are highly effective before introducing them.” Aylo relies on Apple’s age verification system, which is not being scrutinized under the investigation.
“We are concerned that Aylo may not have conducted sufficient due diligence and testing before implementing its new age assurance process. As a result, we are concerned that Aylo’s process may not be highly effective at preventing children from seeing pornography.”
A redesigned wordmark has appeared at the start of a new promotional video for Apple Music Hall, and at the top of the venue’s website. That said, the current version is still being used across the Apple Music website, and displayed inside the new show venue. so it’s unclear if Apple will be using the new logo anywhere else.
In a post on X, Williams criticized people for sharing a fake AI video that depicts her father Robin Williams pushing conspiracy theories, and said the clip is “not even particularly convincing.” It’s the latest of several condemnations the Williams family has made against AI fakery of the late actor.
Charges against the 20 year old “looksmaxxing” manosphere influencer (real name: Braden Peters) were filed on September 8th, and include one count of rape, one count of drugging someone for sexual intercourse, and one count of procuring alcohol for someone underage. Arraignment is set for October 14th.
After launching for iPhone last year, a free Android version of the Premiere mobile app is now available on the Google Play store. Devices need at least 5GB of RAM and to be running Android 13 or later, and the app provides a multi-track editing timeline with tools for visual effects, audio, transitions, and more.
