Sprint has just announced that its 4G LTE network will go live in Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, and San Antonio on July 15th, 2012. The carrier’s new LTE network appears to be on track with Sprint meeting its previously announced mid 2012 timeframe, and the carrier says that additional market launches in 2012 will be “announced later this year.” Sprint also still expects its new network to cover 250 million people in the US by the end of 2013, and plans to release “15-plus” new devices in 2012 to support LTE.
