Amazon has just issued a press release with something we don't see from the company very often: actual sales numbers. The company now says that for the past three weeks, it has sold more than a million Kindles per week in the rush of holiday buying. This number includes Amazon's entire Kindle lineup (including the Kindle, the Kindle Touch, and the Kindle Fire) rather than any specific device, while the Kindle Fire remains the company's number one best-seller, a position that it's held for 11 weeks now. Amazon also says that the Fire has enjoyed the "most successful" product launch the company has ever had.
